Unidentified rough stones
Shape, color, internal structure, fractures and inclusions. Mineral identification and valuation mechanics based on weight, clarity, purity and quality are in development.
Examination & appraisal
Brush cleaning, precise weighing, flashlight inspection and expert appraisal. A workshop experience designed to reveal each stone’s potential.
Cutting: value and risk
Weight loss, quality changes and breakage risk after cutting. Decide how far to go in pursuit of a brighter stone; this system is in development.
Economy & progression
Traders and appraisers, stone sales, equipment upgrades, access to new sites, collections and inventory. The gameplay loop is being developed alongside save and resume systems.
The atmosphere of the mine
Detailed mineral and rock textures, mine lighting, flashlights, ambient sound and audible detector feedback. An exploration experience designed for touch controls.
